The VSG (Virtual Service Gateway)

Product overview Virtual Service Gateway (VSG) is a dedicated network attached storage appliance; designed to provide a gateway for the delivery of InTechnology's managed data services.The VSG is installed on the customers' local or wide area network and connected to InTechnology via a secure, private ADSL, leased line or LAN extension circuit.The customer has no physical access to the device and all support and management of services is done remotely by InTechnology support staff.

Disaster Recovery

In the event of a major customer site disaster there is a 24 hour operations team who are on hand to respond to such an incident.

The team react in accordance with a defined service level agreement and will deliver the customer encrypted backup data to the chosen DR site anywhere in the UK. A replacement VSG is also installed at the DR site to enable data to be transferred over the network in order to get the business back up and running.
